We just made a claim as our vehicle hit a huge pot hole in the road and split one tire open and damaged the wheel, from the time I called claims that night right up to the accessor seeing the vehicle in the workshop where it was towed it was less than 48 hours, we were so impressed right from the get go. A check arrived 2 days later.

Had a little damage to my car, called Safeco directly, & the man I spoke with was very patient with me and explained the entire process to me very well. Then the adjuster followed up with me that afternoon to make sure I didn't have any questions or need any help with anything. We had just swapped our insurance to Safeco a month earlier & we are loving Safeco so far!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Prompt, courteous, caring & professional service On June 30, I had the misfortune of a large oak tree splitting in half and falling as I was passing by. It resulted in damage to my vehicle. I called the 800 telephone number on my Insurance card and was pleasantly greeted by a lady who first of all concerned for my safe being. She then proceeded to explain step by step what would take place during the filing of the claim. Within 48 hours I received a call from a Safeco agent who had talked with the repair shop where my vehicle was and explained my co-pay and the amount Safeco was responsible for which covered the entire cost of repairs to my vehicle.

They were great. They called the tow, arranged everything with the repaid shop, and my car looks great! Thank you SAFECO.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor treatment to good customers My taillight got broken somehow and the estimate to repair (lens only) was $4,000. At first SAFECO could not decide if it should be covered under my $1,000 comprehensive deductible or my $2,500 collision deductible. I sent photos of the broken lens to the SAFECO adjuster and was told I had to go to their collision adjuster before they could decide what they would pay. I dove over 40 miles to their adjuster who noted that was no evidence of any contact with the vehicle, but SAFECO notified me that I would have to pay the$2,500. I have been a SAFECO customer for over 10 years paying over $6,000 per year for 5 vehicles, a home, and an umbrella policy. For such a small claim I am concerned about SAFECO's policies if I ever had a large claim. I no longer trust the company and am switching all my insurance. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!
