independent agents support communities with Safeco Make More Happen awards
Across the country, many of these agents are making a difference by volunteering their time, raising money, and creating awareness for deserving nonprofits and local causes.
At Safeco, we’re proud to partner with these agents from a business perspective—but we take even greater pride in rewarding their efforts to build stronger communities. That’s why we created the Agent Giving Program, which recognizes the volunteer work of independent agents and provides financial awards to the nonprofits they support.
Make More Happen Award winners can earn up to $10,000 for their cause, while agencies designated as Safeco Change Agents earn a donation of $2,000.

Make More Happen Awards
PCRG Insurance Agency, Bellevue, Washington
PCRG is helping to fight cancer by supporting the Innovators Network, a group of young professionals dedicated to advancing research at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
Oakview Insurance Services, Yuba City, California
Oakview works with Clothes for Kids to offer local children in need a free, fun shopping experience for new back-to-school clothing.
L.H. Brenner, Inc., New Haven, Connecticut
L.H. Brenner is involved with Food4Kids New Haven, which provides children in the area’s public schools with a bag of nutritious food to take home each weekend.
Bilz Insurance, Covington, Kentucky
Bilz supports the Emergency Shelter of Northern Kentucky (ESNKY), which provides shelter and food to those who are seeking housing, employment and better health.

Bill White Insurance is a supporter of Don’t Meth With MO, a program that works to change the conversation about drugs and help young people say “no” to methamphetamine.
Killingsworth Agency, Brooksville, Florida
Through its support of Operation Heart F.E.L.T., Killingsworth helps provide nutritious meals to underprivileged children in local schools—many of whom are homeless or displaced.
