You already know that working with an independent agent is the best way to add ease, choice, and expert advice to the insurance-buying process. But did you know that it can be a great way to support your community as well?
Across the country, many of these agents are making a difference by volunteering their time, raising money, and creating awareness for deserving nonprofits and local causes.
At Safeco, we're proud to partner with these agents from a business perspective-but we take even greater pride in rewarding their efforts to build stronger communities. That's why we created the Agent Giving Program, which recognizes the volunteer work of independent agents and provides financial awards to the nonprofits they support.
Make More Happen Award winners can earn up to $10,000 for their cause, while agencies designated as Safeco Change Agents earn a donation of $2,000.
We've handed out eight awards so far, this year. To learn more about the winners, read on. Be sure to stay tuned for more giving goodness later in 2018!
