Classic Car Insurance Policy Features
Safeco's Classic Car* insurance program includes: Antiques, Classics, Modified Collector, Reproductions, Replicas, and Restoration vehicles. Vehicles must be at least 10 years of age and considered a vehicle that will appreciate in value.
Policy Feature Definitions
- Restricted Use means you drive your collector car about 2,500 annual miles or less. This program is for individuals that have other daily use vehicles, but like to drive their collector car on weekends tours, leisurely fall trips, and special events. Classic car insurance rates are much lower to reflect the vehicle's limited use.
- Regular Use means you drive your collector car daily, and you may or may not have other regular use vehicles.
- Agreed Value is automatically provided for your collector car which means you're covered to the insured value, less your deductible, in the event of a total loss.
- Deductible Options means you have a choice of selecting higher deductibles to save additional money on your premium.
- Winter Storage means you can reduce your coverage to Comprehensive only if you store (not drive) your vehicle during the winter months. Just call your Safeco agent to arrange it.
- Garaging means your collector car must be stored in a fully enclosed, locking garage.
- Collections means we will insure your entire collection whether it's just one car or 10 or more cars. Your satisfaction is important to us, so we will work with you to make it fit just right.
- One Policy means you can mix your daily use autos with your collector cars on the same policy and still get all of Safeco's Classic Car insurance coverages or split them up. It's your choice.
*Safeco's Classic Car insurance will not cover Kit cars, Restoration vehicles rebuilt to less than 50%, or vehicles designed for racing or with nitrous oxide.
