Information Regarding the November 17th, 2013 Tornadoes in Illinois

For our Illinois customers affected by the recent tornadoes, the following measures are in place to assist you.

  • A moratorium on cancellations and non-renewals has been implemented until January 14, 2014 for customers in affected areas. If you have been impacted by the storm and need additional time to pay your premium, please call your agent.
  • If you need additional time to report a claim or to complete repairs to your home, we will provide you with a minimum 60 day extension.
  • If time beyond 60 days is required or if you have any questions or concerns regarding your claim settlement, please call us anytime at 1-800-332-3226.
  • You may also seek assistance from the Illinois Department of Insurance (DOI) by calling their toll-free complaint hotline at 1-866-445-5364 or by visiting the Illinois DOI website.
