Extra Reassurance Following Hail Damage

A hailstorm just pummeled your roof. Now what? If you don’t already have a roofing contractor you know and trust, you may feel overwhelmed by the notion of selecting one that will live up to its promises. Safeco’s Guaranteed Repair Network eliminates the legwork and the guesswork so you can feel confident in your roofing repairs.

The Guaranteed Repair Network helps match you with a vetted contractor in your area. Through the network, you can enjoy:

  • Quality repairs: We won’t send just anyone up on your roof. Each contractor in our network has passed a background check, and each is licensed and insured, per state requirements.
  • Stress-free claims experience: You won’t be on your own. Your Safeco adjuster will be with you every step of the way to manage the entire claims process and the repairs. We’ll even pay the contractor directly, minus any deductible you owe.
  • Guaranteed workmanship: We have your back. Your roof replacement comes with a five-year warranty for added peace of mind. If the claim calls for additional work, such as drywall patching and painting, that work comes with a three-year warranty.

You can always chose to work with a contractor outside the network – we don’t mind. Just please note that the work will not be guaranteed through our network if you hire your own contractor for the repairs.

How to File a Hail Damage Claim

When you report a claim for hail damage by calling 1-800-332-3226, your Safeco representative will determine whether the Guaranteed Repair Network is right for you. If so, here’s what you can expect from the hail claim process:

  1. A contractor from the network will inspect your roof and report back to Safeco.
  2. You can review the contractor’s findings, and, if you decide to move forward, you will receive a repair contract.
  3. Repairs begin, oftentimes within two to three days, with Safeco overseeing the entire process on your behalf.
  4. Once repairs are complete, Safeco will pay the contractor directly while you return to your normal routine.

With the Guaranteed Repair Network, Safeco makes it easy for you to recover from hail damage quickly – and with quality repairs that are guaranteed.
