Safeco has a tradition of supporting initiatives and projects unique to the Seattle area—our headquarters’ hometown. We believe in being involved in the places where we live, work, and play.

ArtsFund

Safeco believes that supporting local arts organizations is important for a vibrant and healthy community. Since 2002, Safeco has contributed more than $600,000 to ArtsFund to direct to nonprofit arts organizations in the Seattle/ King County region.

Safeco Cares Day of Caring

Safeco employees across the country volunteer their time and services during the annual Safeco Cares Day of Caring. Held in conjunction with Safeco's workplace Employee Giving Campaign, the Day of Caring provides an opportunity for employees to give back to their communities through participation in local projects, from painting and yard work to food and clothing drives. 2007 was an amazing year; it included a record-breaking Employee Giving Campaign which raised more than $1.8 million for non-profit organizations across the country.
