Safeco Corporation - The acquisition of Safeco Corporation (“Safeco”) by Liberty Mutual Group (“Liberty”) was completed on September 22, 2008 (the “Effective Date”). In connection with the acquisition, Safeco became a subsidiary of Liberty on the Effective Date. Pursuant to the terms of the Agreement and Plan of Merger, dated as of April 23, 2008, on the Effective Date all shares of Safeco common stock were cancelled.
