Safeco recently endowed a private foundation, called the Safeco Insurance Foundation, which will solidify our commitment to the community and ensure consistent giving levels over time.

Our Corporate Giving Strategy

With the establishment of the foundation, we have redefined our corporate giving strategy. As we complete this work, our giving focus areas and grant guidelines likely will change in the coming months.

Submitting Requests for Grant Funding

Application for Fundraising Events
To request Safeco Insurance participation in a fundraising event (breakfast, luncheon, or dinner, etc.) please complete a table sponsorship application.

Agent Giving Program
Safeco has dedicated funds to support and encourage the civic engagement of independent Safeco agents nationwide. The signature initiative of 2007 was the Community Hero Award Program. Safeco plans to honor thirty community volunteers who perform outstanding services to support and enrich inclusive communities. A total of $500,000 will be donated to charities nominated by Safeco agents in honor of community heroes across the country. Find out more about our Agent Giving Program.
