Rating processes are changing as the insurance industry moves to automated underwriting and pricing systems. Without a direct link to a company's rating system, it can be difficult for a vendor system to produce an accurate result. Nonetheless, single entry workflows are essential to agency productivity.
Benefits of partner integration include the elimination of re-keying data, single source for edits, a user friendly interface and an accurate quote. Below is a brief description of the types of integration available with Safeco:
- Safeco's Bridging technology allows policy data to be quickly and easily transferred from your local system into Safeco's Q&I tool where a policy can be accurately quoted and then issued, reducing redundant data entry.
- Safeco's Real-time Rating technology allows partners to integrate directly with Safeco's rating systems without ever requiring a user to leave their local system. Real-time rating can provide accurate product/tier placement and premium calculations in comparative rating environments.
- Safeco's Real-time Inquiries allow agents to make inquiries on without leaving their local systems for personal lines billing, claims and policy, and for commercial lines billing and claims.
- Safeco's Download technology provides current policy "images" of issued policies to your agency management system. Any time a change or transaction is made to a policy, our system will provide up-to-date data to the system you use for managing your agency's book of business.
