Seattle, Wash. – (April 28, 2011) – Safeco Insurance has mobilized its National Catastrophe Team in response to violent storms and tornadoes that have ripped through the southeast region of the United States.
“In partnership with local independent agents, the Safeco team is working to help our customers as soon as possible,” said Glenn Shapiro, senior vice president, Safeco Claims.
Safeco customers with storm damage should report their claims to (800) 332-3226.
Safeco is triaging claims and prioritizing contact and inspections to serve customers with the most severe damage first.
“We will continually assess customer needs and dispatch additional staff as necessary to the area and our call center operations,” said Shapiro. “All of us at Safeco are committed to providing exceptional service and caring for our customers when they need us most.”
