Seattle—(January 28, 2010) —With the increase in the amount of mobile computing options available to consumers, Safeco® Insurance is doing its part to make its service available to policyholders wherever they may be.
The company announced it has launched Safeco Mobile (m.safeco.com). Now, when users go to the company’s website using a mobile device like an iPhone or a Blackberry, they’ll be automatically redirected to a version of the site optimized for the small screen, with larger buttons, easy-to-read text and customized content. Safeco’s 24-hour claims response number also is prominently displayed.
“Our customers have told us that access to information immediately after an auto accident or damage to their home is paramount” said Melody Brown, Safeco Assistant Vice President— Online Experience. “We listened, and as a result, the new Safeco Mobile site will make it easier for them to find resources and to gather the right information where and when they need it.”
The optimized Mobile Safeco site will see several upgrades as the company continues to test uses and review feedback from customers and their independent agent partners.
