Vote for your favorite Safeco Insurance® Community Hero
Vote for your favorite Safeco Insurance® Community Hero and you could help a hometown hero win $10,000 for a local charity.
From now until 10 a.m. PDT June 3, you can read the stories of 16 local heroes and vote for your favorite one every 24 hours. The Safeco® Community Hero with the most votes when the online contest ends at will receive a $10,000 check from Safeco Insurance for his or her nonprofit organization, and the runner-up will get $5,000.
All 16 heroes featured in the voting event have already received a Safeco Community Hero Award, which honors their work with a $5,000 donation from Safeco Insurance to the charities they support. That donation is given on behalf of the hero and the independent insurance agent who nominated them.
“The Safeco Community Hero Awards allow us to contribute to the work our independent agent partners do every day to strengthen their communities,” said Safeco Insurance President Matt Nickerson. “We are honored to support our agents by recognizing the local heroes and nonprofit organizations they champion.”
