Safeco Insurance® launches LiveLifeLocal™ to help people find and share great activities all across the country
Seattle, Wash. (April 2, 2012) — Safeco Insurance today launched LiveLifeLocal, an ever-growing, searchable, user-generated collection of activities and events where people can find and share the best things to do in local communities across the country.
Containing thousands of activities posted by people around the nation, LiveLifeLocal provides a local perspective on a national scale. The site is based on the premise that local people know their communities best, so who better to populate it than people who live – or have visited – there and have firsthand knowledge of what’s truly great.
The site also will showcase a growing series of videos featuring actor Ryan McPartlin, best known for his role as Devon “Captain Awesome” Woodcomb on Chuck and most recently appearing in CSI: Miami.
“LiveLifeLocal is about sharing all of the great things there are to do in our country and finding inspiration and ideas for trying something new,” said McPartlin. “I’ve had a lot of fun checking out some of the activities submitted by the LiveLifeLocal community, and I know you will too.”
Whether it’s a gardening show in Atlanta, a cooking class with a well-known chef in Chicago, a kid-friendly concert in Indianapolis, or early-morning paddleboard yoga classes in Seattle, the site features activities in a dozen fun categories. Visitors can search for an activity by type and location, making LiveLifeLocal a great resource no matter what you’re looking to do.
