We Make a Difference

Safeco Insurance is proud to help make a difference in the communities where we live and work. Our giving programs strive to support our communities through grants, meaningful sponsorships, direct employee involvement and contributions given on behalf of independent agent partners. Safeco Insurance Fund

Our grants program focuses on education and broad-based health and human services priorities in the states of Washington and Oregon. We also support community and cultural organizations.

Make More Happen Award

The Make More Happen Award recognizes independent Safeco agencies that make more happen in their communities through volunteering. The award honors their work with a donation to the nonprofit organizations they support. Make More Happen Awards will be given during each of three review periods in 2014 – spring, summer and fall – for a total of 90 awards.

Employee Giving and Volunteering

From our annual Serve with Liberty day to our annual giving campaign, Safeco employees across the nation are actively involved in contributing to the health and well-being of our communities.
